The PB-Series, AC Residual Current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent Protection (RCBO), combines the ground fault protection and the familiar overcurrent tripping characteristics of a normal circuit breaker, reliably tripping when sensing low level ground or overcurrent faults.

This breaker series delivers reliable performance, reducing the risk of shock or fire near water by consistently tripping even when low level faults are detected. Based on the principles of hydraulic-magnetic design, the PB-Series also operates reliably when exposed to extreme heat or cold, making it a natural fit for generator, lighting and marine applications. For marine applications, it is suitable for AC branch ground fault protection; AC main ground fault protection for a boat’s entire AC electrical system; and portable generator ground fault protection.

The PB-Series is front-panel mounted and features .250 quick connect and a variety of screw terminals. It is available as a one to three pole breaker with single ELCI and three actuator styles—handle, rocker and flat rocker—all versions will trip on overload, even when the handle is forcibly held in place. An optional panel seal accommodates all three actuator styles.
