About this product
The C-Series is a compact circuit breaker delivering high amperage and voltage capability while offering the most extensive agency approval options. This robust circuit breaker employs a unique arc chute design which allows for interrupting capacities of up to 10,000 amps, reducing nuisance tripping on high amp loads. The thermoset glass filled polyester half shelf construction found in this compact circuit breaker provides for increased mechanical and electrical strength. Additionally, wiping contacts with two step actuation provide high, positive contact pressure and longer life.
C-Series features the largest variety of handle and rocker actuator styles available from Carling’s breaker series. Rocker actuated configurations include options for a push-to-reset bezel and/or the exclusive Rockerguard, which protects against inadvertent actuation. Furthermore, the C-Series also offers sealed metal toggle options ideal for harsh environments and parallel pole configurations for telecom applications.
The C-Series is configurable as an up to 100 amp breaker in one to six poles with handle actuators and one to three poles with rocker or sealed toggle actuators.
