Job Summary:

Experienced level of work that provides support for manufacturing and engineering of new and existing products. Supervision received is limited.

Essential Job Function:

• Performs calibration and time delay of circuit breakers.
• Performs routine testing on switches, circuit breakers, power distribution panels and new products.
• Records test results and writes test reports describing procedures and equipment used.
• Assists with quarterly circuit breaker follow up testing.
• Builds specialized lab test equipment.
• Assisting other lab techs with various tasks.
• Create Circuit Breaker Labels.
• Performs Core Pull In Testing.

Recommended Education / Experience:

• Associates Degree (ASEE) or equivalent from a 2 year college or technical school; or two year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to use standard electrical/electronic test equipment: Digital Multimeters, Ammeters, Oscilloscope, Temperature Meters, etc.
• Customer specific requirements pertaining to job function.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools.
