Job Summary:

This position is responsible for identifying, managing and implementing sustainable process improvement activities, leveraging data analytics that accomplish business imperatives. The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing, recommending and executing organizational improvements; identify process improvements and make recommendations to the Management Team around the topics of forecasting, inventory, capacity, labor and/or suppliers.

Essential Job Function:

•Conducts quantitative analysis to identify opportunities to achieve business imperatives. Initiates further analysis and recommendations based on findings.
•Proactively identify potential disruptions to the supply chain. Collaborates across functional groups to prevent disruptions leveraging available system solutions, relationships and escalating when appropriate.
•Understands and can teach supply chain concepts across multiple disciplines.
•Demonstrates overall knowledge of end to end supply chain, applies knowledge to achieve organizational impact.
•Support and begins to lead project teams working to drive optimization and overall supply chain success. Utilize project management methodologies.
•Creates and presents recommendations in a concise manner to management.
•Cultivates and leverages relationships across multiple disciplines to resolve supply chain issues.
•Able to independently extract and interpret data and complete complex ad hoc analyses.
•Continuously looks for ways to benchmark and improve processes through analysis of methods and models.
•Makes adjustments to the analysis using the most effective method.
•Acts as the primary contact within the Supply Chain for the testing and implementation of processes and application improvements.
•Analyzes requirements to troubleshoot problems and/or answer questions.
•Collaborates across functional groups and makes recommendations leveraging available system solutions and escalating when appropriate.
•Generates new ideas and willingly supports change initiatives.
•Other duties as assigned.

Recommended Education / Experience:

•Preferred: Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of supply chain/customer service positions, subject matter expert on how supply chain business processes and systems work.
•Required: 3+ years of experience in previous supply chain/customer service positions.
•Understands supply chain or customer service functions throughout the different departments. Utilizes this knowledge to collaborate cross-functionally resulting in decisions that benefit the greater supply chain or customer service. •Demonstrates the initiative to build knowledge, organizational and business awareness.
•Some experience with project management methodology, process improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma), or statistics.
•Ability to multi-task, work in teams and use multiple systems and processes to handle changing requirements.
•Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, MRP/ERP Systems
